Dear friends, neighbors, and close family!
We gathered around our heritage doily this evening to do what we do often and with great love. We play music together and it’s music that we adore. We wanted to play it in a way that would open hearts and doors to our great passion for this music. This is the music that has made us dance, laugh and cry and sing when it’s aloud. Grandpa Ecklee passed on his Omnichord, which he received as a bequeathal to mark his service on the Battleship The Great Kalamazoo. Grandma Egley received this fiddle on her 10th birthday in Dundas Wisconsin where she grew up amongst the great trees. The unity of the two instruments is what brought the Stedford Bedford Stepford Brothers together before the confluence of the Great Broods to share this music in the hopes that you too all will come to understand the great love and passion that carries our legendary dance band to glory.
